How to appoint an Auditor?

You can appoint a first auditor by filing eForm ADT-1 with the MCA. Once the company is registered, the board of director may appoint first auditor with in 30 days from the date of incorporation and if board fails to appoint first auditor, the members of the company may appoint him with in 90 days of company incorporaiton. It is mandatory to appoint first auditor for a company. LLP is not required if the capital contribution is below Rs. 25 lakhs and turnover is below Rs. 40 lakhs.
